Climate change increases droughts, which increases wildfires
Nature has an amazing ability to restore balance and order after a catastrophe. When fire rages and forests burn, gradually new trees grow from scattered seeds. But not always. This year’s fires in the western U.S are more widespread and harder to control. Climate change in the form of warmer temperatures and severe drought are making the problems almost insurmountable.
