This is the peak blooming season. Very soon now the brutal Texas summer will set in, and the orchids will be somewhat less happy.

I do my best to keep them comfortable — putting a shade cloth over the top of the greenhouse, running several heavy-duty fans, employing an automatic misting system, plus misting from the hose every single day. Most of them will survive, but they look forward to the cooler weather of fall.

BUT in the meantime, we are enjoying this glorious display. Please enjoy it with us in the photos show below.
