On a visit to Costa Rica this past June I was able to spot a number of Catasetum orchids growing in the wild. They were not very easy to find, because none were in bloom at the moment.
But I happen to have one in my greenhouse. Stay tuned.
By the way — I looked it up — it’s pronounced “kat-ah-SEE-tum”.
