I made a visit to Dr Delphinium today.  No particular reason.  But I don’t need a reason to go look at beautiful orchids.

First I went back to the greenhouse to check on one of my favorite plants — the Stanhopea that was recently in bloom.  Sadly, those blooms don’t last long, but they are glorious for a few days.

I gave it some words of encouragement, so that it will bloom again soon.

Lots of other orchids were happy to display their beautiful colors and shapes, though. Here is a gorgeous display of orchids and and bromiliads. Made my day. Hope it helps make yours, too.
