I have a white mug with a photo of Kurt Vonnegut one one side and part of this quotation on the other.  I use it for dipping my brush into water.  The message from Mr. Vonnegut serves as a powerful reminder that art is important to quality of life.

I am always happy to have that message nearby as inspiration.
