Phalaenopsis Orchids
If you are thinking of growing some orchids in your home, Phalaenopsis is the species to pick. They like bright light, but not direct sunlight. A grow light is helpful when natural bright light is not readily available.
Phalaenopsis do not have a way to store water in their tisues, other than their roots, so it is important to prevent the growing medium from drying out completely. At the same time, it is also important to avoid over-watering.
